Stop playing.
Destiny is designed in such a way that you're seemingly "addicted", when the truth is that Destiny gets you into the habit of playing regularly. It's a routine. You ever deviate from a routine and feel lost? This is what Destiny does to you.
This is the philosophical problem of boredom as well, because you're bored. You know you're bored, but you still play because you think you're doing something productive, when time spent elsewhere would otherwise leave you behind. This isn't true in the slightest, so you default on trying to justify your reasons for playing the game, even if there is nothing worth doing.

Bungie refusing to pay for regional geographic dedicated servers only so players keep getting booted from the Tower, literally has nothing to do with 'the philosophical problem of boredom', and everything to do with capitalism.

It is well known currently that modern game developers invest a lot of resources into psychology departments to prey upon gamers psychological profile.

Edited by eXp_Theorislav: 4/5/2020 10:41:38 AMDon't listen to these d*cks saying you're talking sh*t, a nicely composed opinion, for obvious reasons the OP could be in lockdown atm, so... well I've lost my train of thought, but yeah, I'm probably going to stop playing until this gets fixed. Destiny sure has an elusive way of making you think you're addicted to it.

Very insightful and well put

Nah game is shit kid your stupid pseudo psychology is nothing but And it’s a little embarrassing lol
-
I speak truth, everything else is pseudo intellectualism. I even have a control group, and my non-consensual test subjects to prove my point, whereas you only have propaganda, and alternative facts. You attack me, because you don't understand me, my goals, and are threatened by my intelligence, and high IQ.

yep you're an flat-earther who believes the world is flat but all that psychology is total hogwash bs it's like somebody at 35 year old still believes in santa clause . the tooth fairy and the easter bunny if that is the case they have got an case of the peter pan syndrome . what next fooling people to believe that aliens built the pyramids rank psychology .

No, servants built the pyramids and were paid with beer. It was actually quite nice. Everyone wore a wig too, it was some pretty good times. Until the incident...

Edited by frankiecroft852: 4/6/2020 3:22:22 AMtotal fallacy i read books about egyptology and mayanic culture to find out the actual story about the pyramids but remind me what is your phd again i am intrigued .
-
Oh, you read books? My bad. Books are the most direct source of truth without any human bias behind their writers, or revisers. History has always told the truth. The gaps within human conscious that the brain creates shortcuts for is no big deal I'm sure. Nobody has ever, had a true false memory the have and haven't actually experienced. Kind of like the Bible.

i mostly read all kinds of books yep i am shameful to have an copy of fifty shades of grey but i mostly read books on egyptology and mayanic culture . reading has being my fave topic since childhood . and i visit antiquerian book stores during the summer.
