Even streamers are complaining about the trials population lol
Top players complaining about trials population being low already is the funniest thing I've been seeing. Because now you all see that its not as popular as you all think. You wanted a sweet mode now you have you're exclusive club and us average players are not playing it anymore.
Now you're crucible playlist made for you is about to die off and you all said if we're not good enough go play something else. Guess what we have and we're no longer your cannon fodder for easy wins. Suck it up and deal with the fact we're not enjoying players stomping on us anymore every dam game.
If trials dies it all on you for the way you all rub it in our faces about going flawless 40+ times in one weekend and the 99% of the playerbase wont ever go once its a hope less situation for us.
Im ok with never going flawless and im ok with your playlist going away because it's all toxic anyways. No one wants to play the 1% of those god tear players and no one wants your influence on this game anyway.
What we want is fair matchmaking and enjoy the games we play not get stomped every time we step into a crucible match.
Trials needs to go away away and stay away or make it fare for everyone to play not just the streamers or elitist players. You all have made your bed without ever considering that maybe the casual player base is the reason this game mode was to stay alive. Now you all are crying that there are not enough casual players in the game mode. We'll were not coming back and nothing you do out side of making a flawless only que matchmaking for those that have already gone flawless that weekend will bring us back.
Hope you all enjoy trials now because it wont last if us casual player stay gone and the population stays so low its not worth bungies time to invest in that mode any more.

11 RepliesI used to feel like the pvp people were the most toxic... But everything I see in here now is pve people being toxic because they can't succeed in pvp endgame. I consider myself a pve player who happens to do both BTW.

1 ReplyBingo. I attempted Trials and it was the most toxic experience I've ever had. T-baggers galore, aim bots, etc., all in my first three games. Walking away from being cannon fodder... I used to play D1 Trials and while it was sweaty as -blam!-...at least you could get loot, get 4-5 wins together...this bullshit is awful. Something has to change. The reward structure and...some parameters on matchmaking against teams' elo. Bungie a SUGGESTION: Let ultra sweat elo players get matched based on wi⁹ns, and low/average elo players get matched based on wins. Boom. Give adept weapons for those ultra sweat players for flawless...put back on the old D1 perk that you had on those old adepts.

22 RepliesBtw, most , abd I mean 75% of ppl who are sniping you going around the corner in milliseconds are modded PS4 and using wall hacks and aimbot, another 75% are just plain garbage and know how to DDOS, so Trials is the most disgusting toxic garbage it was in destiny 1, and same in trials of the 9. No one even knows yet that there’s a glitch to regain your super after using it. You simply use your super, kill all 3, jump off the map before the timers done, and voila you have a fresh super every round!

I actually dont think its trials that is the problem. I think it is how it was implemented. Of course you are going to have people not good in trials. But they should be able to get the basic rewards from it. Putting it behind 3 wins and needing to unlock the gear before you can get it to drop from saint was a dumb move by bungie.

Lots of streamers were taken aback by the animosity slung their way in recent posts by members of the community for the way they have been farming casual players for tokens for the trials shotgun. Check out all the streamers now trying to speak on behalf of the community on how Trials is set up to deflect from the way they have earning off others community members misery.

Edited by Jonny Quest: 4/1/2020 5:23:13 PMI understand your frustration, but as I see, the 1st big big problem is hackers: aimbotters (some of them even "hide" it well, like, only toggling it when necessary to win), wallhacks, some of them just don't care to be seen and they just teleport, rush like a cheetah, infinite lives, infinite supers, infinite heavy or special ammo and firing them like 1900 auto rifles etc. Because I know there are a lot of good players out there, but come on dude, suddenly when D2 is free on Steam and ToO is back, a lot of (hundreds if not thousands) players appear out of nowhere and they are way better than ppl like Luminosity, Nferraiu, Sonic, Wallah, SirD, Panduh etc etc etc?! I knew something was wrong specially last weekend in Widow's Court (terrible map choice) and since a lot of players discovered there is a D2 hacking tool or whatever is called for free, makes a lot of sense, now I understand why no matter how hard I try, suddenly some players hit me with godly jump headshots after not hitting once before, or why there were ppl who never missed a single bullet. And Bungo saying "uh... banhammer still smashing here hehehe... keep it clean boys" pfffft. There's proof that a single hacker has been going flawless carrying several times and nothing happens. The "anti-cheat system" that Bungo claims to have is a lie, they remind me these government offices where they do a one day work in a month, all useless and lazy, and out of date. And yes, second "problem" at least for me is account recoveries: Damn, so if by miracle you don't face a hacker, chances are high that you are facing super top tier players using someone else's account because that person is so bad that they paid the top tier player to use his/her account to take him/her to the lighthouse. I am not against carries or help (it's not always a "carry" because there are some decent players that they just don't have the right teammates or clan to play pvp), but account recoveries... last i knew it was against ToS and you are still ruining the experience for some ppl that maybe they want to try by themselves getting their 3rd, 5th or even 7th win and one day flawless. The ironic part is that Bungo said that they were "working" in how to improve the Trials experience, that's why Trials of the Nine was removed and that's why Trials of Osiris wasn't brought back immediately, they said ToO was old, D1 mechanics that couldn't fit with today's pvp experience... yeah right. But after a year or idk how long you bring back ToO exactly the same way, with old armor, no adept weapons, tokens system that doesn't work? Ok maybe that's because you were working so hard in an anti-cheat system and after that you can focus on really NEW content... but NO. None of that, wow. (And don't forget that Iron Banner is still the same, no new weapons, always old armor and same game mode). It's a shame. Oh and forgot to say: those error codes? Cmon dude! You were supposed to work very hard in bringing back Trials and you are full of errors.

Card based matchmaking seems like a great idea, until it's being manipulated to farm tokens for better rolls on weapons. Personally, I think you should have to play your ticket all the way through (no resetting) and when you get 3 losses or hit 7 wins - it breaks and you need to spend another 25k for one.

Token system is the problem. In d1 nobody was farming their first three games so you could at least make it a little bit without facing stacked teams

3 RepliesAs i have said before, a tier system is needed, who goes flawless once that week, gets moved to another tier out of the main playlist to a flawless dedicated playlist, to give room to all the others to at least get somewhere on their own, without having to rely on carries or recoveries. 3 tiers would be optimal imo, but 2 would be at least acceptable.

Games rated teen. Must be a good rep bungies got going on to have streamers do transactions and paid carries to minors. Basically taking there money. But of course bungie supports what these streamers do.

It needs to go, but the damage it has seared into the game and its core playerbase over the last 5 years cannot be undone. It just can't. That's why PvP is screwed. That's why balance is screwed, all people do is suck off the meta, get shit nerfed, and move on to leech something else.

No sympathy for streamers a lot think they own game. Only thing is thou they do need to get a grip on rewards pinnacles and fix those bunkers so many problems when running more than one character. If you have more than one certain weapon bounties can’t be picked up do to not doing opening of season pass on that character. Because I play across three characters my bunkers are so messed up I’ve given up on them

I got screwed this season it feels as I am solo player and couldn't play Trials and the bunker public events has no players. So yea thx bungie for not thinking of the solo players. Imo you need to make focused seasonal events which everyones plays, not add content for the top players cause that is not the majority of players who plays this game. I left the game again unfortunately, shape up I would say....

It sux that there are cheaters and errors happening...I’m a pure casual and don’t have the itch to go into trials. I love watching the highly skilled players though, hopefully Bungie can take the cheating and error soon.

My team and I went Flawless twice the past weekend, no problem getting into games, no waiting, on ps4. Get your facts straight before you open your mouth and convince everyone here how stupid you really are.

Hm.. they're not upset that the numbers are dwindiling down on casual players, they're upset that they keep encountering cheaters and getting beavered. On top of that the streamers I've watched agree that the casual player should have incentive to play trials via: make the rewards benefit all players, get adept weapons at flawless. Make it so everyone can benefit and not just the most hardcore players. What streamers are you watching that say the game shouldn't be for casual players too? Kackis, Aztec, mtashed, are the ones I've seen that would like it to be for everyone. I haven't watched others. But I'm sure most streamers/YouTubers are for the general public.
