Hey. This text is written through a Google translator.
In October 2017, I bought Destiny 2 Deluxe Edition. Later, I took advantage of the transfer of the game on Steam. In the news I read - all the initial content has become free for everyone.
My friend bought a simple version. Now he can buy the exact same DLC kit as mine: D2: Forsaken and D2: Shadowkeep.
Do I understand correctly: my purchase was a waste of money? What specific content is different in the Dexule edition and the Simple version?
If I'm wrong, please explain what exactly should be inaccessible to my friend?

Edited by dc213baseball: 1/28/2020 8:13:24 PMThe original deluxe edition (as stated on all packaging at that time) was for base game, dlc1(osiris), dlc2(warmind), and a few extra in-game goodies (emblem, sword, and emote). Nowhere was it ever mentioned that it would include any future dlcs/expansions/etc (forsaken, Shadowkeep, annual/season passes, etc). Your purchase wasn’t a waste of money, as you got what was advertised at that time & could play from then up until now.
