Please be civil about this as i feel this needs to be talked about but no hate towards devs or one another! <3
Right so Bad JuJu had a sense of urgency too it with the triumphs an was a resource sink, Very blatant and people denying it saying "do the bounties" when the counties were glitched to work effectively only on one character is insane! how that gets into the game i have no clue.
But clearly it was meant to be preparation for this event, as everything has jumped in price along with no event engrams no bright dust, and the cosmetics are all locked behind a bright dust or silver paywall. This is implying the same marketing style Activition teaches and has taught for many years limit time events, real money fix for the lack of gameplay earned cosmetics aka people pay for engrams or direct purchases.
This could have been fixed or done in good favor by adding in event engrams but making them rare, make them once every two levels, ect ect. I feel things like the bad juju ornaments are perfect for them making money as a solo developer! but to lock almost all the relevant event loot (even the glowing effects) behind a paywall after a resource sink is extremely obvious employing the more... manipulative methods the industry has been employing.
Bungie, we have your back and support you, but this is not it! we wanted to away from them to show us you can be better. Employing the same methods that nearly killed Destiny as a franchise is very risky an i get you can test the waters as show keeps keeping you afloat but please take this into consideration for future events.
As i said dont attack one another over this lets talk about this as feedback is crucial right now for Destiny!
Cheers <3
