Yes, but acitivitons marketing was what made it into hell.

There's no proof Activision influenced anything though. Bungie created it, controls what's in it and the price. I fail to see how the games publisher is at fault.

Urm, they have marketing executives that give Bungie and all there other games marketing presentation of how to move forward. They have been open about this for years mate.

They advise on expected incomes etc yes. They don't say what items go into Eververse or how much they cost.

They also teach them predatory methods on how to entice players an what types of things should or should not be sold on stores.

Mate, its happening everywhere from loads of companies how have you not been seeing this? its been a think since like 2011. That guy is not a reliable source about anything. I get what you're getting at, but Activisions marketing department is not going to meeting pushing predatory tactics with third party developers. They have tried to trademark certain systems, but they aren't getting passed and they aren't being implemented into games. Crash Team Racing has just introduced Mt's and that is entirely Activision as they own the developer. That's the big difference.

I know because I work in marketing and you can't do that. You would get reported to whatever your countries governing body is and be gone. Legacy Killer and Clean Prince are essentially just rumour merchants and I doubt they have internal videos of any meeting between Activision and Bungie.

Mate, there are VIDEOS of them giving the press conferences, its not illegal as has just been determined they have been fighting in courts in the uk for past 3 months and determined its not illegal.

I'm not talking about loot boxes, I'm talking about them pushing predatory tactics. That's illegal. The engrams in the store are 100% by Bungies design. Link me one video with footage of a meeting between Bungie and Activision. Not an earnings call, a meeting where they push predatory tactics.

its not illegal as the laws on this subject are outdated, why would EA and other companies have to re brand loot boxes, and other micro transactions otherwise? The documents between Bungie and activation were from a quarterly i have no clue how to find how to push people towards eve more which is why they started using her for alot of quests ect. If you work in marketing you should have been to afew of these meetings yourself afew active devs using the same tactics as bungie agreed with the "lets go whaling" (sorry cant link from my phone) i think the talk was called which i highly suggest you watch as it was similer to what was in the Activitions monotisation scheme which is all "legal" using outdated gambling laws in the UK and other countries which is why i think Germany banned one of GTA's new updates as there research points towards these things being addictive. Im not saying Bungie is doing 100% the same thing, but there old schemes are being used and have been using the same types of stuff which they did in d2 vanilla which nearly killed the game! i think its important we're aware off this stuff. But as i said, this is not too far gone, its just one event but they're going down a very slippery slope and feel some feedback on this is important! ^_^!
