  • I ran in 4 stacks almost exclusively. But I'm just not trying to deal with it. It's not fun, its stressful for me. I won the vast majority of our games but it's not what I want to play. I got to 700 on all 3 and Im not touching either gambit now. And on a related note because of that and that I got all the curated weapons you can get out of Reckoning I guess I'm fine for the season more or less. I'll pop on for a couple forge weapons but they really messed up making this all focused around gambit. Nobody wanted it.

  • So you played it a whole lot already. I guess you've covered your 11 dollar investment. You still have a Xur bounty a week I guess. You should have known that a Drifter based expansion would be focused on Gambit. I like Gambit a lot and this expansion is a nice change from the PvE focused ones. I play everything but PvE gets boring for me a lot faster than anything PvP focused so this is a good content drop.

That I should've known it would be about gambit. I did know. That doesn't somehow excuse how terrible it is. We are different people and that's awesome. When PVE gets boring for me I like to play other games. I just dont understand why invaders are so insanely OP...its obviously never a 4 on 1 situation so that's just another excuse.

  • I heard the weapons rotate weekly so you'll have a couple more to chase in Reckoning. The invader has to be OP, there are four people on the other team, one of which is specifically supposed to hunt the invader. The sentry can mark the invader for everyone else. I don't want to play a bunch of other games, Destiny does a good job of offering a lot of different things to do. I play Anthem but it's already getting boring, not enough to do. You can't please everyone.

  • I'll just continue to insist it's never a 4 on 1. And the way invasions are now the Sentry is useless. They mark an invader only doing damage to them. So either they get some wild lucky AOE grenade to catch the invader or they're dead when they engage. Invaders have so much power, shielding (even more now with their set) and constant element of surprise that it's ridiculous. It's stupid, they're terrible and that's my opinion. I literally hate getting killed by them more than any player in pvp because at least that's on more or less of an even playing field.

  • If you are on a full team it is 1v4 unless your team invaded. It's usually pretty easy to kill the invader before they even get going unless they spawn behind the damage circle. That's were planning and communication comes into play. Send the sentry one way and your invader the other, now on of you are behind the invader, if he goes down the middle you have a reaper and collector waiting and the other 2 are both behind him. People panic and scatter, I see it all the time when I invade but the coordinated team usually takes me out very quickly.
