So what about every other quest weapon that has zero ties to pvp but there is always a pvp step and it's usually the shittiest step because it ha progression lost, rare chances, or just a -blam!- ton of requirements

It’s bc bungie knows the majority doesn’t want to play their idea of pvp so they put stuff like milestones and quests tied to pvp to artificially inflate pvp playtime numbers to make it look good to current/future investors. It’s pathetic
