I have not played since October because I’ve been too put off by the state of the game, especially weapon tuning. To be clear, Bungie does not have credibility with regards to quick fixes or QoLs being “on the way” at this point. They consistently create broken Crucible metagames due to obviously bad weapon balance, and leave them untouched for months. They made year 1 gear obsolete en masse and have given zero indications that they even consider this the smallest problem, even though that pile of gear included a set of awesome looking armor that players had a narrow event window to grind out and was tied to Eververse cosmetics. As far as enjoying what content is present, I did have some fun with Forsaken’s content at launch, sure, but there really wasn’t a lot of depth to it, and ultimately the grinding became tedious for zero gain, and I’m really not seeing enough content added to get me to put more work in the game.
