LOL that's hilarious. I was super-hyped for Anthem, even removed Destiny 2 from my Xbox... but after a week of Anthem, its just stale, lackluster and boring...
Flying around is cool and the world environment is top-notch.
but almost everything else is lackluster: loot, guns, story, missions, enemies...
So here I am back again at Destiny where it may not be perfect... but it's generally pretty good.
The grass unfortunately isn't that much greener at Anthem...

Define: "Lackluster". You sound like someone who is chasing after a feeling, rather than looking to have fun.

Edited by i7 ICEMAN: 3/2/2019 5:03:14 AMLackluster defined = lacking in vitality, force, or conviction; uninspired or uninspiring Unfortunately that's what Anthem felt like to me, just a hollow shell. Cool armor and flying around... but not much depth. I realize Destiny has been in the same situation at various points, especially right after launch. Vanilla D1 and D2... so eventually Anthem may add enough content, but right now it gets old pretty fast. Destiny has a lot of holes also, but there is substantially more content in Destiny, and the guns as loot are much better, and the gunplay is superb. Looking forward to new content on 3.5.19.

So your complaints are purely subjective? Other than expecting a game that is a week old to have the same content as a five year old franchise (Destiny)..... ....and you didn’t play that game long enough to realize that the loot aren’t things, but the powers you acquire along the way. As well as not playing long enough to see what the top tier powers and weapons can do? About sum things up?

You just described destiny 2
