Destiny - Custom Audio Profile for PS Gold Headset (Companion App) Issue

When using either the PS4 or PS4 Pro with a PS Gold Headset (1st Gen) and the headset companion app for it, I'm able to load the custom Destiny audio profile in slot 2, but there is absolutely no difference in audio quality. In addition, I have friends with the exact same hardware and settings, but they report such things as hearing a "jingle" when they're near a chest or resource. I hear no such jingles... I'm not sure if it's something wrong with the profile, the headset itself, or perhaps a setting I'm missing? I've got all sounds enabled with plenty of "volume" yet I hear no difference from standard headset settings. My headset has been updated with latest firmware and has been "reset" multiple times trying to get this to work properly. Has anyone else experienced this issue? How were you able to resolve it? Thanks for any and all help!

  • Hello, The jingle is very faint you might want to test it using your TV speakers not the headset. You should make sure you have the music volume lower then the sound effects volume in your Destiny 2 settings in-game.
