Anyone on OffTopic read books?

Some of the books I'm going to read this month: . The End of Faith: Religion, Terror, and the Future of Reason by Sam Harris . A Universe from Nothing: Why There Is Something Rather than Nothing by Lawrence M. Krauss . A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson . Mortality by Christopher Hitchens(currently reading) If anyone has any suggestions on what to read tell me. I like history, philosophy, and science books mainly. And some fantasy every now and then.

1984 by George Orwell Liking this book is a thought-crime so forget I said anything. Out of the Silent Planet by C. S. Lewis Lewis might not be your cup of tea judging by your current selection, but this is one of his more secular novels. It's a retro sci-fi tale that is surprisingly philosophical. Lewis does a great job exploring the nature of man. World War Z by Max Brooks Not "deep," but a fun read and probably the most plausible interpretation of a worldwide zombie apocalypse I've ever seen. It also explores the idea of how humans handle crisis.
