'Turtle' on start screen
I keep getting 'Failed to download config files from Bungie severs' error messages on starting Destiny 2 (with error code Turtle'). I'm on xbox live with a wired connection. Cleared cash and resetted my router multiple times. The only thing i could find that was out of the ordinnary was that i have a higher than normal latency (normal 30 - 60/ now 165) with xbox live.

Edited by D3aDManWalk1ng8: 8/18/2018 12:19:13 AMThere was one thing i didn't try and couldn't find in any trouble shooting guide. Guess what... I removed the MAC adress on my xbox. Did a restart and it worked!

1 ReplyIm taking a shot in the dark and guessing they have BT internet. If not, this may still work, but let me know. The fix is to open the Edge browser app on your Xbox and try to browse to any website. Instead of the website, the first screen will be the BT Internet sign in screen. Sign in to this screen and complete the set-up. Once this is done just exit Edge and launch Destiny
