My youngest kid has put the game down. D2 is not made for kids either.

The youngest of us that plays. 14 Has the most time of the 3 of us that play in our house. I suspect More time in D1 than me and his older brother combined. Has 3 characters now over 280 with no raiding, nightfall, or trials. He's only a pve player at this point. He's put the game down for now and is back playing what is actually a pretty good Roblox game. I asked him why and he said the progression rewards hit too much of a wall right now. When we spoke we agreed that since he's not doing any "endgame" stuff it will be harder and he understands that and accepts that the grind will be longer. He didn't do those things early in D1 either and he said it was still way more rewarding. Keep in mind he loves the weapons and the subclasses and many of the other "mechanics" changes from D1. My other post about this game not be going made for casuals, despite what dome day, was well received. This time I'm saying it's not made for kids either, despite what some also say. Add in: So the question for Bungie is who is it actually made for.

  • I think it's more for the middle of the road player, not a casual, not a hardcore player, more of a regular player game. More for someone that's not going to rush through the game and try to get max level and end game content like a hardcore player and not a casual player that plays till they get bored or stuck and then doesn't come back or might come back for DLC. It's more for the regular player that takes there time with the content, plays weekly, (not everyday) and gets to the max level and end game gradually, comes back for DLC, and sticks with the game through it's life cycle. That's just my take on it, but who knows what their intent really is/was.
