No Land Beyond is the easiest sniper to use.

Snapshot, low aim assist and a lower zoom scope than other snipers. Plus the "no flinch" effect it has. This recipe makes this sniper the easiest to wield. Oh. Half of you thought I was talking about landing Headshots with the thing. Oh. My bad. Before you leave a comment saying im a Huntard or whatever, let me explain. Don't worry, I will leave w TL;DR at the end for people that can't handle more than 2 sentences. Landing a shot with the thing is really easy. Most quickscopes will hit if you are partially accurate. Plus if you know how to reload glitch, it is probably be easiest sniper to land the 2 body shots with. Trying to land Headshots make the weapon a very different ballgame. You really have to get used to the scope and where the center of the screen is. Unless your target is an idiot and runs in a direct straight line at you (trying to shotgun warrior for example), it is very VERY hard to land drags with it. No Land Beyond excels with "luck shots" as I call it. Shots that are planned, and aimed for, but ultimately are based of an RNG that was in your favor (for example: air shots). This would sometimes explain when you get head shotted in a position where the No Land Beyond user shouldn't have even hit you. It's not always skill. Remember that with any sniper. At the end of the day, it is a primary weapon. I can't really claim it is any worse or any better than a normal sniper, and neither should you. But I'm gonna claim that it's an easy sniper anyway, because I use Queenbreakers Bow. I couldn't give a crap about NLB. It is a different caliber of sniping that requires a different mindset. TL;DR: No Land Beyond: Landing body shots are the easiest thing in the world. Head shots are very hard to do, and should be clapped for. But they aren't always "skilled" shots. Most are luck shots.
Im so very sorry if NLB is your favorite thing in the world. But hey, get over it. It's an opinion. You love it, that's all that should matter

Im also very sorry if you can't handle my opinion. I'm so very wrong and I can't wait to read how your more right.

Finally, I'm so SO very sorry if your an MLG sniper and can't handle my comment on luck shots. They happen, you can't just keep saying its your skill. K/D doesn't determine everything either ladies.
EDIT: Misspells corrected. For those interested: bodt --> body, NLb --> NLB

  • There should be a bigger ammo reserve. AND FOR THE PEOPLE VERY SALTY ABOUT THIS, LISTEN UP: same ammo reserve in pvp but bigger ammo reserve in pve

  • The weapon isn't hard. It's the fact that you don't have a medium range weapon anymore. A shotgun for close range and a sniper for long. Any normal primary will -blam!- you up midrange.

  • Used NLB last night for my 50 primary kills on the weekly shax bounty. It was awful. I wanted to cry at the end of it. But i can definitely see how it can be very powerful with practice and mastery. But it is not a gun you can just pick up and be good with. Disclaimer: im not really good with most guns so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

    • Please stop saying "no flinch" it very clearly has flinch when under fire. I will agree it has the lowest flinch than any sniper. But "no flinch" does not exist

      • Ok. So all I heard was that you want a double shotgun meta by allowing Bungie to nerf that last good sniper in the game?

          • I can see where you're coming from, but at the same time, getting two bodies is harder than any sniper (you have to do extra work than for any other sniper to reload cancel to get two bodies relatively quick), and about as long as even the slowest RoF snipers, even if you reload cancel. On the other hand, we've had guns like Praedyth's or Weyloran's that everybody runs around double-bodying like an MLG pro. Even with the changes to flinch, taking a Weyloran's March into Crucible will still give you some easy kills simply by two-shotting people to the body. The RoF is extremely quick, the base aim assist is ridiculously high, and if you slap a low-zoom scope on it like Shortgaze, then it's miles easier to hit two bodies. To be honest, I'd classify NLB as risk-reward. Sure, the perks are nice (having bypassed previous sniper nerfs as well as having an obstructive, but low-zoom scope) but it's really garbage if you don't get the headshot. The body damage isn't enough to clean up anybody unless they're already close to half-health, and the fact that you have to reload cancel to avoid a very long readying animation between shots negates anybody simply double-bodying people, especially in something like Trials.

            • Snipers are fun and easy to use, period. I still use them aggressively and land drag shots up close. I prefer not to use them because of the desire to hang back and snipe, I'd rather charge forward and, you know, play the -blam!-in game. As a side note, NLB is a sniper like LDR with hidden hand and shortgaze is a sniper. You line up a shot; you take the shot. There are no extra steps involved. If you get sniped, you were outplayed.

            • I just started to use NLB in the last few days. A very fun gun, and 99% of the time I feel like I earned my kills. The only thing I would change is removing the lens glare. It has no scope... That makes my OCD go BANANAS.

              • It also replaces your primary which sometimes can be a pain in the arse. It needs to be decent or it wouldn't get used much like lots of weapons.
