Except it's not anymore. Politics aside, high school diplomas don't mean anything anymore. A college degree in a field of worth signals to employers you're A.) serious about your shit and B.) willing to go above and beyond the general population to get work done. We can argue about why it is what is is, but that doesn't mean it makes it any less true
