How to improve Trials of Osiris

Disclaimer: Not all of ideas are mine. I gathered them from different people. Image: http://imgur.com/a/gJ7lb - Implement dedicated servers just for Trials of Osiris (impossible to do in Destiny 1) - Remove overshield when reviving. Dying should not be rewarded. - Side (where you respawn) switching after each round. - Reconnect option to the same team when you get kicked because of a DDOS or an error. Locking out people from Trials of Osiris, when they went flawless. They would play with people who went flawless for unlimited wins/losses. Losses would not count, wins would be unlimited. (they would count as 9 wins/flawless for the matchmaking purposes). The Trials Passage could not be discarded. - Skill based matchmaking or connection based Matchmaking only. No hybrid. Thoughts?

  • For the lockout idea - have going back into trials post-flawless with the same card reward you every 2 or 3 games with a adept weapon and an armor piece. You'll only get match made against people who've gone flawless that week, and your whole team must have flawless cards to matchmake like this. The card can be discarded/restarted if the player wishes and will complete after 3 losses, so you can go back in normally if you want, or if you lose 3 games. The whole separate playlist thing would reset the next week and they'd play like normal, facing the teams they'd normally face. Gives people some incentive to stay beyond their flawless cards while not forcing them to. In other words, it's a completely optional playlist to enter for people who've already been flawless to earn extra rewards.

  •
Locking out people from Trials of Osiris, when they went flawless.
No. Trials should not be easier than it already is. People will just not finish there passage until the last day so they can run as many times as they please.
Skill based matchmaking or connection based Matchmaking only. No hybrid.
Skill based matchmaking. One team should not get slaughtered by another.
Reconnect option to the same team when you get kicked because of a DDOS or an error.
If you get ddossed or dossed once what is going to stop them from doing it when you join back?
Implement dedicated servers just for Trials of Osiris (impossible to do in Destiny 1)
Every crucible mode should have dedicated server's in D2 for crucible to even come close to competing with other big pvp title's. Even Cod supposedly has dedicated server's.
Side (where you respawn) switching after each round.
This or actually make the maps semi-even.
Remove overshield when reviving. Dying should not be rewarded.
I agree or even remove revives all together trials should be hardcore.

      • "Losses don't count... Wins would be unlimited" After going flawless for the weekend... Any games afterwards... Your win/ loss ratio wouldn't count ? That's pointless...

        • I think trials should be like the game mode search and destroy from COD but you know smaller number of people on a team.
