It's because many of the year one players have given the feedback that fixed many of the problems Destiny had in year one. We are still in year one and Destiny has tons of problems, but patch 2.0 will fix many of destiny's problems. Who pointed out all those problems that Destiny had? Who gave the suggestions that would fix these problems? It's because year one players helped Bungie make Destiny what it is today. When year two hits, it looks like Destiny will become the game we wanted since launch. And year one players helped with that. We helped Bungie make Destiny continuously improve, and while I'm fine with the shader, sparrow and emblem, many of the "veterans" feel a little ripped off.
