Going to solo Qodron tonight. Loadout tips?
I'll be running my 34 Titan with ruin wings. I'm having debates with myself about which weapons to go with, so I'd like suggestions.
[b]Current considerations:[/b]
Primary: VoC, MIDA, Fatebringer
Special: Invective, Secret Handshake, Wolfborne Oath, Longbow, Black Hammer
Heavy: Gjallarhorn, Harms way (field scout = 100 rounds per clip), Chain of Orbiks, Sawtooth Oscillator
I do not have SGA or Icebreaker. I'd like to avoid using Gjallarhorn honestly. My concern is being equipped to destroy the detainment shields as easily as possible, which is why I like my 100 round field scout harms way as an option.
The other problem I'm having is I need something to damage the boss if I'm not using Gjallarhorn, so I'd rather run a sniper instead of a shotgun, but if I'm out of heavy, I would be screwed for getting out of the shield if I didn't have jailbreak.
[b]Alright so after reconciling my situation with what your suggestions have been, I've decided to go with Vision of Confluence, Secret Handshake, and Gjallarhorn.[/b]
My secret handshake has a very fast fire rate and very fast reload, and 6 rounds. Plus it has grenadier which should help with trickle. I'll use VoC to shoot the head off the Eye and get him to come at me, I'll shotgun him when he gets to me. I'll just have to be sure I actually get jailbreak every time. I know my secret handshake can get me out without it, but it's takes 8 rounds.

Make sure to have blessings ready in case nobody gets jailbreak. Every time we almost wiped because jailbreak wasn't available for whatever reason we popped blessings and just kept shooting our way out before we died.

VoC, Found Verdict, Gally DPS ads and boss (when possible) with VoC, use FV for the bubbles, and bit Quodron with rockets at every opportunity (but save one or two for the ads as well)

Word of crota or any scout rifle. Void scout if you have one would rock Either void shot gun, which i usually run with. Or invective if you are worried about ammo. I usually have plenty of green ammo around. I would still use ghorn for boss myself. And you should always have buff as no one else will shoot the eye. But bad things can happen and shot gun is best chance to break bubble without buff.

Void weapons for him and a shotgun for the eye and anything that gets close. Precision weapons and probably ghorn since it's just you or you'll be there until the reset

1 ReplyFatebringer, Shotgun (Found verdict / Felwinter's) or Black Hammer for damage and a decent rocket (gjallarhorn, Radegasts, etc). Get the eye to chase you (damage his head) and wait. In the interim take pot shots at him with black hammer. Use rockets for whatever (damaging qudron or panic killing the eye). Just adapt your regular play style to the battle and you'll be fine. Its really just a battle of endurance.

2 RepliesThere a few legendary machine guns that drop more so that and ruin wings would have you covered for heavy ammo for days In fact you cans run those guns then swap to gally to pick up the ammo!! I do that all the time

3 RepliesSounds challenging! I would probably go with Fatebringer, Invective, and a legendary rocket with tracking. Relying on heavy to break containment sounds risky, if you run out of heavy you are toast and ruin wings can prove to be unreliable. Invective will ensure you always have ammo to break out, use the Rockets for Quodron. Other option would be swordbreaker and Gjallarhorn.

2 RepliesI'd go with VoC, Invective, Harms Way. VoC will be your main boss damage and add clearing. Invective will primarily be used to break detain and kill Eye / Majors. Harms way will backup the Invective as need be. If you had a SGA the VoC / Blackhammer / SGA combo would be a little better.
