The saxophone was made to be a classical instrument Every time one of these "pop" songs throws in a saxophone to be different or cool, it just insults the real masters and meaning of the saxophone. Yes, there is jazz. And jazz is not classical, but saxophone has found a way to truly be integrated to jazz. The players made a sound that was beautiful and never heard before. Saxophone in pop music is not beautiful. It's repetitious and played with horrible tone. Quite revolting actually.
