Really... They don't have to do anything. They're fully capable of presenting a story, but have done so in this fashion as to extend its longevity. Giving bits and pieces along the way. I should note that I am in no way in support of this strategy, but they are under a contract and are under pressure to reach specific goals. Plus, they have our money for now. They know exactly what needs to be done without you on your high horse stating "Your Move".
Also a shame he called the Knights "Boomers" which kind of detracted of the seriousness of it.

Edited by Jake cant shoot: 2/5/2015 6:02:56 PMYeah they do know what needs to be done. This game has turned out as intended. Big empty world that they can just continue to sell us dlc. Heck the game released with basically two dlc already finished. Bungie says they listen to the community but really they are just doing what they want and selling us what they already finished. I mean the dlc bent over all the players that had been playing trying to reach 30. if they had actually thought it out after release and actually listened to the community instead of just rolling out cut from game content. I think people would be looking at bungie in a whole different light. And besides "trying to extend it longevity" is flat out inexcusable. From the makers of halo. A game carried by its pvp. They sure did create a lot of grindy cheap ways to increase playtime.

Don't pretend they are giving "bits and pieces" of an over arching story. I love the game for what it is but it holds absolutely no semblance of a story, it's like reading paragraph one of 5 different books then releasing an appendix (ahem grimoire) of shit we should have read but with no knowledge of how it came to be. TLDR: Not even bits and pieces to extend longevity, it's just gibberish and grimoire attempting to provide context.
