Actually just clicked
Sony made ps2
Microsoft made Xbox
Microsoft made 360
Sony made ps3
Technically Microsoft made two consoles to try to knock off ps2.
I'm not actually trying to start a war on this, just don't like false information.

Microsoft is a software company I think I trust them more
-
Then they should stick to PC, because they are hurting gaming community more then building it, with all those exclusive BS
-
Yes, exclusives started with Microsoft... Maybe look at some of your gaming history. exclusives, and even third party exclusives, aren't a new thing. Not only that, but Sony and Nintendo both do it as well.
-
But fact is, xbox made it like drinking habit, with their paying and hurting lots of developer like bungie
-
Tell me how their behavior is any different and how they are hurting Bungie. Some of the games, such as Titanfall, probably wouldn't exist if Microsoft didn't help fund them. EA was close to pulling funding. Tomb Raider undersold according to Square Enix's reports so maybe Microsoft publishing made them more open to a sequel. Bayonetta probably never would have received a sequel if Nintendo didn't step in. With Capcom being in the financial position they are maybe they needed Sony to fork over some cash for Street Fighter. Also don't forget you are posting on a board for a game that gas exclusive content paid for by Sony. You can't call out one company when they all are doing it.
-
So let me get this straight, exclusive is hurting developer by cutting half their playerbase along with only said system owner know that developer, the less the dev known the less they can survive by their own
-
Again, not an issue exclusive to Microsoft. Second, how does Microsoft doing it effect Bungie? Three, do you really think developers would agree to it if they were losing money. Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft PAY to have their exclusives. That means that they should be getting compensated for what they are potentially losing by not being on multiple platforms. If not then that is a problem with their negotiations which can't be blamed on the console manufacturer.
