So here's what I got from the first video. Keep in mind, this is based off of the thoughts of a guy who only plays crucible when absolutely necessary.
1) you obviously know the good choke points and are very good at moving in and out of cover.
2) your team worked well together. You guys did a great job assisting each other.
3) you're obviously good at PvP.
4) Your lvl 4 did only a few less damage per shot to high level players with a white weapon than my lvl 28 does with (almost maxed) shadow price.
Last night, the last two games I played in the crucible I had a K/D of 2 and then 2.5. The first few games were much worse. It took me some time to figure out that most people just rush an area and hope to kill via brute force. Once I learned to step back and wait for teammates, and then give myself some room to operate, I did much better. It seems like regardless of crucible mode (including iron banner), working as a team and playing smart are more important than weapons. I would have liked to see a bigger difference in damage, truth be told. It's hard to see a lvl 4 take on a lvl 28 with no discernible disadvantage.
