I am not surprised at all but the root cause is the netcode. Players are complaining about everything else but there is no way to tell anything with a bad netcode. The main problem with the crucible is the netcode allowing too much lag and the high latency to be abused. It's open game for lag switches and/or anything that hogs the bandwith. The guy with the highest latency in the match has the upper hand before anything else, gear, level, class and skill. Bungie needs to fix the netcode before anything else and have the matchmaking based on same range ping values, anyone's ping spike during the match should be disconnected from the session.

I always wondered how the one guy that takes two clips to kill that is teleporting and glitching everywhere somehow manages to do the best in the room.

Something I'm curious since I don't experience much lag, is it player hosted or dedicated servers? I imagine next gen has dedicated servers, but not entirely sure about current gen. But I will agree about the netcode, I haven't had any issues but I have known a lot of others who had terrible experiences with these issues. It might just be because I have high latency most the time.

I don't understand anything you're saying so I don't believe you.
