You can't. One aspect of your life will always be mediocre, and even if its not, you're always going to have drawbacks.
I know this kid, and his story kind of fits in this conversation.
Anyways, the kid is really good looking. He's got the six pack, the attitude, the girls. He's one of the most physically adept kids I know.
He also happens to be brilliant. He misses a couple of days of school and he uses his brain to work out problems like its nothing.
Everything he does he excels at almost immediately. He started playing piano in January, now he is composing music for the school's band.
But that's at a cost.
His abilities spoil him, to the point where he can't stay focused on an activity for a very long time. Since he's so inclined to do well, he figures he doesn't need to work towards what he wants, and that it'll just come to him when he wants it. This variable affects his personality with other people, especially with girls. He flirts with girls, and he wants them when he doesn't have them, but as soon as they want him, he doesn't care. And then it makes him feel so depressed because he was basically toying with those girls.
So see, this is why you can't be above average in everything. Because even if you are, you aren't.
