Im not concerned about everyone else.
It can take a couple hours (if your team is no bueno) and, if you are lucky, you might get one piece of gear higher than something you currently have.
After that, you have to wait an entire week to get a shot at being shafted by rng.
IB has always been the place for low-level scrubs to get gear when they cant do the raid.
Issue is, IB requires zero effort. You could be afk all week and hit lvl 5. You piss a lot of people off, but bungle does not care.
Stupid to give out 320 gear for simply flying in.

It doesn't require zero effort though you have to win to get the good stuff to get to rank 5 because the random drops I think cap at 310 (I haven't seen one higher feel free to correct me) whereas the package which you can only get one per character drops the better stuff which again is once a month opposed to weekly.

No, it actually requires zero effort. Yes, itll go quicker if you participate, but really, finding a quiet corner and crouching through each round is nearly as effective. Unlike the raid where you must participate...
