I am all about shit talking. From the sounds of it, your family is a lot like mine. We say "-blam!- you" a whole lot more than "I love you". But the thing is, if I know that someone can't handle it, I don't talk shit to them pure and simple. I have definitely crossed the line more than once and genuinely hurt someones feelings, and I always feel like shit when I do because that wasn't my intent. As it relates to the internet and what anonymous people have to say about me, I couldn't care less. But some people do. With that knowledge I don't talk shit to complete strangers. As a general rule, I don't talk shit to women unless I know them REALLY well. If you wouldn't drop an N-bomb on a black person, why would you think that it is ok to tell a complete stranger to "get back in the kitchen", or threaten to -blam!- them?. If you are talking shit to people knowing that they will not take it well, you are an asshole.
