The game started off with ok gear, then tdb brought eh gear, HoW brought mostly crappy gear, following the pattern TTK will bring absolute Shit..
Letting players reroll Shit gear until it has good perks doesn't change the fact that it's Shit gear...
Year 2 will bring about 4-6 exotics, expecting people to give up the 24 exotics just for the new ones is just plain stupid.

Exotics will for sure be upgradable. Legendarys r still questionable

Nobody is expecting anybody to give up year one exotics. Those will be upgradable. Without a doubt.
