Considering they haven't made anything good since launch exotics and VoG black hammer excluded yes, I want my good weapons.
It seems like each expansions is an attempt to balance by not making anything special.

Regardless of how you look at it we come to the same end. - They will be implementing new perks and nerf/getting rid of old perks. Just like they have been introducing new perks since launch - Introducing new gun manufacturers - Introducing new Faction weapons - Introducing new Class weapons - Raising the level cap - Raising the damage cap They are doing ALL of these things with weapons and to me its obvious that the reason why is they are distancing themselves from the way the guns USED to be and this is how they WANT them to be. People seem to be forgetting that this is THEIR game to do with as they please. We are the consumer who is free to like/dislike and buy/boycott. Our job is to provide feedback. Not to make demands on how WE think the game should be played. They are free to dictate how the game works and how it is to be played.

And you can still did to lv 3 player that new to game that still have frist weapon in game.

Crusible was more fun when there was a variety of arsenal. The brain trust needs to be able to make weapons that are great end game weapons for PvE and balanced for pvp. Either by making them exclusive to one or modified for a balanced PvP.
