Gjallarhorn and Fatebringer should be 10 year weapons. They are iconic weapons in gaming history and Bungie should embrace that.

G-Horn? Yes because its an exotic. Fatebringer? No because its just vanilla raid weapon that everyone has latched onto. Its a level 28-30 weapon that Bungie allowed to be upgraded to 34, but now the level cap is being raised to 50. There is no reason to allow people to play forever and ever with the same weapons. Its discourages people to try the new content and it takes away the reason to grind. If everyone is content with what they have then they will have no reason to move forward.

I am not suggesting keeping the same weapons. Just one weapon. Gonna go out on a limb and suggest the Fatebringer will end up being the best legendary hand cannon Bungie ever designs for this game. Just a prediction. Players being attached to something is a good thing for Bungie. What discourages people from trying new content is boring and repetitive old content and making the grind even harder by nerfing weapons.
