If bungie laid this out for the community at the beginning or much longer ago, nobody would care. Instead they throw this out less then 90 days out,and just a blink of an eye after House of Wolves. It's not poor game design it's poor marketing and community relations
just another opinion
• If anybody would like some insight to some of bungies thoughts, check out 'Conversation with the creators' it's on PSN video. They did naughty dog,and treyarch as well. The reason I mention Naughty Dog and Treyarch is because when you watch the three seperate conversations there is a startling difference between bungie & the rest. There seemed to be alot of eye balling during some questions, and just the overall feel was tense. 'Walking on eggshells' feel to the entire thing. Compared to Naughty Dog and treyarch it was far more casual, cool and entertaining. There's definitely a stick up bungies ass or at least that's how the people they chose for the interview felt. Then again if could be a subconscious bias towards being a destiny gamer.

  • I agree with this but I truly believe they have no idea what they're doing. They're making it up as they go. And I don't mean that to be rude or diss them, but it's apparent that they are fine to keep changing things and to release a game that wasn't quite ready to begin with. It's got potential though so we just have to see how it all pans out. But they have to do whatever it takes to keep us playing the game.

I've always contributed any failure,or future failure, to Bungies lackluster community support. This could primarily be due to the corptocracy of activision. That's purely speculation though

  • It's my estimation the Bungie is lacking any serious central single vision of leadership towards Destiny. The hastily slapped together Dark Below, the delay of House of Wolves so it would be higher quality, yet ultimately was so-so, the nerfing and buffing again and again, and now the big news for TTK are revealing some weapon modeling that looks extremely preliminary!! I will be well surprised if TTK launches on schedule and is also a resounding success beyond the first two weeks! All this critique is above and beyond the bigger picture that Destiny hasn't had any real Competition for the attention of all XB1/PS4 players. (Not comparing any other games per se, just saying what people are willing to spend their time on...)

  • I can bet, TTK will not go too well here and Bungie will plead the whole "we were rushed" b.s. again.
