English
-
People are homeless for a multitude of reasons. Some are veterans, some had their lives fall apart after having something depressing happen to it. Some turned to drugs. Not everyone gets equal opportunities.
-
You aren't responsible to help them, but some people could be born into it and might not have a chance to become a non-homeless person
-
Except that they're are so many programs these days, that they have no reason to still be homeless
-
How do you know?
-
There's so many programs these days
-
So no personal experience or recognition of the lack of 1. Support coverage and 2. Lack of prophylactic measures to help people avoid homelessness? It's not unusual to avoid feeling empathy by telling yourself the problems are all on the one suffering, but it's intellectual laziness. We need to do better and stabilizing the job, housing, education, and medical marketplaces, because we've been careless and it has hurt many people who were trying to make it work.
