Oh, so mostly they just played musical chairs with the code and gave abilities from other already existing enemies.

Yes, because other enemies multiply.
-
That's dumb and not creative at all. Seems like very little work and they are charging 40-80 dollars for it.
-
Funny how you say that and yet we know so little about it.
-
1 planet, 1 raid, re hashed enemies, new subclasses. For 40 dollars. Vanilla destiny, 4 planets, 1 raid 2 subclasses per character option. For 60 dollars. Tell me how that makes sense?
-
We don't know what will be on the planet, nor in the Raid. They could be on a much larger scale than previous iterations. As stated before, the enemies are not rehashed. They may look similar, but are entirely different. The subclasses are great, you can not deny that.
-
It's not 40 bucks of content.

With all due respect, now you're just being stubborn and arrogant. No one has ANY idea what will be in The Taken King. Including all that was discussed before, there will be multiple missions, Strikes, and who knows what else? You can not judge its price until you know everything that is in it.
-
I'm stubborn, and you're what? A blind fanboy? Be realistic. Given bungie's track record it will be a huge flashy reveal trailer and boring stale gameplay with a new planet (woo hoo). Open your eyes...
-
I do not deny that Bungie's record hasn't been the greatest. However, how are you so sure that they will not redeem themselves with The Taken King? Perhaps Bungie will learn from history, and attempt to use it to better the future. I'm not saying The Taken King is guaranteed to be this amazing DLC. All I'm saying is that you should have an open mind. If you just assume it will be bad, and have a fixed mindset, then there is no hope for you.
