My reply is relevant, the title of your post literally has the words "season pass" in it. It was called an Expansion pass, because the first two "DLC's" were called Expansions. And the pass clearly stated it covered The Dark Below and House of Wolves. Regardless of your definition of an expansion is, TDB and HoW where the only things included in the Expansion pass. That's why it wasn't called a Season's Pass. It didn't include The Taken King, or any further expansions, because it doesn't include a full season of downloadable content for Destiny. Do some research. There is no "season pass." It was called an Expansion Pass.
