1) a season pass last a year (but anyway that was not a season pass)
2) the expansion pass includes TDB and HOW and it was very clearly specified back to September. No one has to be surprised.

Buy the dlc and that's it and you ll get vip rewards. You ll miss 3 shaders, new emotes and exotic class item (xp boost).
