Ok think of it like this; does your cable company give you better rates the longer you are a customer? In fact they increase your rates while giving new customers better deals. Companies are always more focused on bringing in new customers because they more likely to stick around, where long time customers (like many of you who're complaining) have a greater tendency to leave (which many of you are threatening.)

  • I never have a issue getting price breaks with Comcast. Which to me is crap for customer service. I always pay a price same as new customers. Its called "Retaining Customers". I don't even talk to the retention department. Yes people use to you have to say "well I am cancelling" to get the deals. That seems to be slowly going away. It would do Bungie good to make sure to at least address the concerns.

  • That awkward moment when your analogy gets ripped apart for being wrong; while it also had nothing to do with what this post is actually about.

  • they may slowly raise the prices, but they never recharge you for the same channels. as in, they never charge you what you already paid, plus almost as much as what you paid up to that point, just to get what johnny noob gets for next to nothing

  • Unless you call them and say you're going elsewhere or you aren't using it and thus cancelling, and then they give you the new deals plus a free month of HBO or some shjt.

My gym gives me better rates. They also rewarding with loyalty points. My insurance gives me better rates, and a cash back bonus. My regular airline gives me better rates the more I fly with them. I get a free pizza at my local pizza place after 10 orders, and full free meal (x-large pizza, 2 sides and a 2l drink) after 25 orders. My hairdresser gives me a free haircut after every 10 cuts. My car wash gives me a free vallet after 10 vallets. I GET REWARDED FOR MY LOYALTY IN THE REAL WORLD. WAKE-UP BUNGIE!!!

heres the real question. does the free 11th pizza count as an order for the next 10 orders and the 25 orders? or would you actually need 27 orders before you get the 25th free meal?

  • Or insurance companies, or airlines, hairdressers, washing companies, and, and, and... Their still a business. Good business practice is to reward EXISTING customers for loyalty as well as making good sign up deals for new customers. Servicing both bases ensures a sustainable business model. If you just focus on just the one end you will see diminishing returns on the other base. Rewards and Recognition is the most well known method of ensuring growth for your company. Business is business. No matter if your an electronics company, a sports franchise or a pet parlour.

  • Actually they don't if you talk to the right people. There a reason I'm paying $60 a month to AT&T for unlimited data/call/text/TV/Internet. But that's besides the point. You clearly didn't read anything but the title or you would see that your post has nothing to Do with the actual point of this thread.
