The argument used by some stating "games go down in price overtime" is HIGHLY subjective. Of course over a long period of time they do, but even after a year I'm pretty sure Destiny still costs $59.99 without a sale. Usually I am on Bungie's side, but $40 out the door or 60$ with the super ultra special window licker edition that includes all previous DLC is a spit in the eye.

Right, and if I go down the road it is still retailing for $60 in most physical stores.

You can't trust random stores with the price of video games. The Wal Mart I used to work at had a Guitar Hero 2 (disc only mind you) priced at $60. This was only two years ago lol. Actual price is 40.

Everything devalues over time, but if Bungie is telling us that Destiny Vanilla+TDB+HoW equates to $20 in their equation once TTK drops, there is a serious issue then with how much we (or I) have paid in $90 for already. Ive already made up my mind, Ill be getting TTK, but I truly feel that the price is on the high side considering what people have already paid for the game.

The price is $80. It's more they are just buying all the dlc and getting the base game for free.

Yep... Exactly how I see it too. Not my main concern but it's definitely another -blam!- you to their player base.
