I remember the first OP gun in Destiny was Shingen, aN AR with a ROF of 90%. Fires fast and not hard to land all headshots. Then the first AR nerf hits and it was way harder to get headshots with Shingen(or Hardlight). Then comes the time of low ROF ARs.

Yep, then they buffed Pulse Rifles and Hand Cannons beyond belief. Now AR's need to be made OP as they once were to balance it out. Will people stop using Thorn if this happens? What do you think?

they nerfed handcannons. Bungie never buffed handcannons as a class. They did buff thorn in the exotic patch

Yeah they buffed Thorn and the nerf did nothing.

The nerf did decrease accuracy at range noticeably. The follow up shit in particular is hard to get a crit shit. The the damage fall-off starts sooner. Noticeable with perfect balance not noticeable with send it.
