I understand where you're coming from, but here's my view on things. If a Suros user is firing at you and you start shooting at him at the exact same time with Thorn, Red Death, Vex Mythoclast or any other top-tier crucible gun, who's going to win? Clearly the latter. I personally believe that all auto rifles should be restored to how they once were. Sure there would be crying, but isn't there loads and loads of that already regarding Thorn and all other top-tier guns?
Necrochasm and Hard Light certainly deserve a bit more attention than the Impact auto-rifles as it's not as if the Impact ones can't be used entirely, but all ARs still need a buff to compete with top-tier guns as I said before. Thanks for the bump.

My reasoning for not wanting to restore high impact auto rifles all the way is because they where dominant before they where nerfed. Even though hand cannons have a faster ttk, the high impact auto rifles won gun fights with them around 70% of the time(just a estimate). And dont forget the hand cannons were nerfed at range and accuracy. Every weapon type has a place in destiny except auto rifles in there current state

Well, they should clearly keep the range nerfs on Auto Rifles. Watch old clips of how AR v HC clips played out, you'd be suprised. It was probably more of a 40/60 TTK Rate between TLW and Suros in that order. With the new helmets and perks that add obscene accuracy upon jumping and other simple acts, I believe that the AR buff is exactly what Destiny needs to balanced out the crucible and not only for that reason. Thank you for your views on the topic.
