Bad theory.
In one week, literally ONE week, between the 5 people I consistently play with there had been:
6 ghorn drops, the first 4 were to people who never had them.
2 icebreaker
1 thunderlord
3 hard light
2 no land beyond.
And 3 mythoclast.
And that's just one week
If it was fixed bungie wouldn't have given so many ghorns. It's alllllllllllll RNGesus spread his love. You should probably google how RNG works before spouting theories.

agree, this week alone everyone in my clan (including me) got their 2nd gjallahorn amoung other exotics. I would rather believe that it looks at what you've gotten and eventually gives you what your missing, but I know that's full of holes cause since I bought two IB a few weeks back I got a 3rd and then two more. I've scraped at least 4 suros' as well. In the end if you play enough you create more chances to get what you want.

And like many others. I have every exotic. And I've had em for a while besides thunderlord which I just got last week.

Not to mention there are millions of people playing. Why would bungie sit around and watch people and be like "oh give him that" If anything they raised the RNG drop percentage.
