The Underappreciation of Uncommon Boots

To Those Who Appreciate the Little Things: Does anyone realize how underappreciated uncommon rarity boots are in this game? A chest piece of uncommon rarity commonly has, at most, one main upgrade. A pair of boots of the same rarity has, at most, NO main upgrade. You can upgrade the defense, but where is the main upgrade? This description of the Axiom Coven Warlock boots reads, "[b]A boot is only a boot. Unless it is a Warlock boot. Then there are perks[/b]." Where are the perks? What if I desire to carry more Hand Cannon ammo with help from my uncommon boots? What if my Scout Rifle runs out of ammo too fast and I could use a little extra? I feel as though my punches should replenish my grenade energy by the power of my boots, but will that happen...? No! It will not happen for the reason that boots of uncommon rarity do not live up to expectations. They are looked down upon by rare tier boots and even looked down upon by the uncommon gauntlets! Rise to the challenge, Guardians! Declare, "We require upgrades for our Uncommon Boots! We will not stand for the treatment these boots are receiving. Though they are but boots, they deserve the same respect as the uncommon helmet!" I will not indulge myself in another Level 24 Strike, will not permit myself to obtain any boots of higher quality than that of uncommon, will not so much as attempt the guarding of the Ghost as he scans a stain on the wall.
