Hello glad to be here

I would say I am newer and less experienced than many of the hardcore vets of this game. What realized is that I cant really go any further in this game by myself. I have 297 light, what should I do now?

  • Hey Dano! Welcome to the group :). Yeah, you're at the place where you either need to take advantage of events (Sparrow Racing, Iron Banner) that do have matchmaking, or find a group and do some end game content. Each week, you can do the end game content once per character for rewards. The Weekly Nightfall strike is a strike with hand picked modifiers that rotates every week. This week, it's Psion Flayers with Arc burn and a few other modifiers. It drops loot between 290-310. The Normal Mode Raid drops gear between 300-310 and some of our guys would be glad to run it with you and teach you how to do it :). Trials of Osiris, the weekend PvP tournament, also drops gear between 300-310, and up to 320 if you're really good via bounties and rewards for winning a bunch. It's really difficult, even if you're good at PvP, and the gear can be underwhelming for the effort unless you've got a good team. I play on xbox one (joethemieden) and ps4 (joemieden)- feel free to add me- I'd be happy to explain more stuff or run activities with you. You should also check out our Group.me chats. There's channels for clan chatter and Looking for Group threads, so that might help you group up with people too. There are links for those in the "New Member Info" post stickied in our forum.

  • Hey dano welcome to the club. the best way to get you light up is nighfalls, raiding, and trials. Nightfall are dropping gear up to 310, NM raid drops gear up to 310, HM raid drops gear up to 320 (once you hit 302-305 you can run HM with other of equal or greater light), and trials drops gear up 320 (you just have to play trials and get the bounties done if you are not much of a pvp player). join the groupme for general chat and for xbox lfg if you have not already. there you will also find member to run stuff with. just let us know what you are looking to do and when you are able to do it, and most of the time you will find some DRPers to help. feel free to message me anytime for anything you need in the world of destiny. lastly just add some of the xbox clan members to you friends list and make them favorites so you see when they get online. it was a huge help to myself. now i have tons of options for friends to play destiny with. Good luck guardian
