TTK Update

Hey everybody, hope everyone is having fun with the new expansion. Definitely easy to get lost in the dreadnaught. Just wanted to give everyone an update on some things that we have explored. First things first.... upgrade your sword (infusion and perks) it wrecks everything in the first two tiers of the court of oryx and pretty much everything else. Once you achieve 290 attack and unlock all perks of it, speak to lord shaxx for a quest to obtain the exotic version of the sword. More info on the mission after arms day this wednesday. Next thing is light level, engram and strikes go together on this one. Your light level seems to determine the gear and weapons you get from the cryptarch so don't unload all your engrams at once. Decode one, inspect it and equip it if the weapon or armor piece is better than the one you currently have, then decode another. We received the best loot drops from heroic strike because they can't make things easy for us :) Lastly, we put together a fireteam of 6 guardians and went for our first attempt at the kings fall raid Friday . Lots of new mechanics that we are going to share with everyone at a later date (don't want to spoil anything because we hope to take everyone through the raid once you have explored everything and reached the recommended light level.) This one's not going to be an easy one guys, teamwork and firepower are essential in this raid more so than the vog or crota. We made it half way through the raid and was unable to complete it but we are going to make an attempt number 2 before reset this tuesday.
