Sir i dont know what kind of stuff your on. But a direct hit from a hammer is always death unless its against another hammer. So either you dont know who your facing or your kust experiencing some bad lag

Bladedancer and hammer of sol have damage reduction. But due to how people act while using hammer of sol they could probably get two hammers at the bladedancer before the bladedancer even gets close
