Going over the unfortunate fact that Auto Rifle Nerfs have completely destroyed Auto Rifles. Discussing, what caused these nerfs, and now to properly Buff Auto Rifles

4 RepliesEasy, cus so many cry babies come onto the forum and go "omg suros so op" "nerf nerf nerf" " "cant counter this gun its too op" "i cant beat it so please nerf the gun" "got one shot with suros, nerf now" Same thing is happening to hand cannons now, you see these stupid nerf posts everyday, from people who havnt spent enough time playing and more time complaining. The effects of these nerfs not only made the guns unusable in PvP but also for those players who solely concentrate on PvE. These guys calling for nerfs are not the people who will stick around the game for a long time cus they obviously dont have the skills or the patience to learn and improve their weakness in the game. And the funny thing is, the only reason hand cannon seems so op now is because auto rifles have been nerfed to oblivion to the point that it cannot be considered an effective weapon against any type of gun. Please stop the nerf movement and posts, if anything buff the guns to come in line with other types of guns that are widely used now adays. Dont let cry babies ruin the game for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 RepliesI can tell them how to fix auto rifles. Restore the previous nerf there damage was never an issue. After restoring the damage nerf the range by 30-50% as well as maybe stability by 10-20% and bam fixed. That would make auto rifle act like they should a short to mid range rifle with high fire rate and sub par stability.

My summoner Adept is beast on IB beats the thorn and TLW most times but to be fair most auto rifles are ass

Well, actually buff them so that they're in line with other guns, but not so stand out that it'll be Suros wars again. Kinda like Hawkmoon: It isn't overpowered, but it certainly isn't underpowered, it's in between. Let the range stay as it is, just take away most of the damage nerf and you'll get your auto-rifles back in line. Or as Kackis pointed out Bungie buffed shotgun damage by 100% in PvE, so why didn't Bungie do that to auto rifles? Friggen idiots.
