Trifecta Chapter Two, Flashback

Hello! Welcome back to my Trifecta series! If you haven't read the first one, the link is here. This is second in the story and I hope you enjoy! Trifecta Chapter Two, Flashback. Ten years earlier... "Ugh, battling these stupid minions is so boring!" LMAZ groaned, "I want to do something more." "Well what should..." Nessie trailed off, "LMAZ, I know that look." At that LMAZ gestured for them to huddle. They huddled together and LMAZ murmured under his breath. When they broke apart, they all had malicious grins plastered on their faces. ******************************************************** "Ikora! The South wall is under attack!" Brask shouted. "By what?" Ikora asked perfectly calm. "Everything! Our scouts see legions of Cabal, Vex, Fallen, and Hive! Our best and worst guardians are out there but they might as well be pesky flies!" "Well then tell them to retreat! We shouldn't waste lives in a hopeless battle." "All right then." ******************************************************** The guardians of the city fell back leaving only the scouts, taking out leaders with their snipers. Finally a CRASH! sounded and a tunnel through the wall was complete. The scouts began to notify the Vanguard but were vaporized before they moved an inch. Then all of minions of the darkness fell as one, either to the void, sun, or thunder. ******************************************************** "That took a good while." LMAZ commented. The trio sauntered into the wall. Lose cables sparked and metal support beams jutted out. The ground and walls were hot to the touch and uneven. There were many hazards but none were of any concern. The guardians walked through the rest of the way and emerged back in sunlight. "You guys ready?" "Born ready." And all havoc broke out. Buildings, demolished people, obliterated houses, ransacked. The streets of the last city appeared to be on fire. Guardians from the tower came and were destroyed. Nothing could stop the rampage that raged. ******************************************************** Nessie whirled through the south city almost invisible to the naked eye. He was shooting his dual hand cannons faster than thought possible and with the accuracy of a sniper. Each shot took out a piece of a house or more often, a guardian's life. And he was laughing all the way. "Ok, we've had our fun, let's go." And just like that the battle was over. The three assaulting guardians up and left. ******************************************************** "Ikora we won! Ikora we won!" Brask was jumping up and down while pumping his fist. "That may be true but I need you to go and call a gathering. When everyone's there, you will place a bounty on their heads." Thanks for reading and sorry for the shortness but this was meant as a recap so I hope you enjoyed!
