Recon-Part 4

"Why did the Vex keep it like this?" She asked her Ghost. Before her Ghost could reply someone tackled her, causing her to crash into the wall. She collapsed onto the floor and whipped out her hand cannon pointed it directly at the assailant, a middle aged man. "Who are you? What are you doing here? Why are you here?" The strange man asked. "My name is Truth and I am here to help." She replied. --------------------------------------------------- Anon threw his "Crusader" to the ground and pulled out his knife. He summoned the Light and felt Arc energy coursing through his entire body. He cut the Minotaur's arm clean off and landed gracefully on the ground. He attacked the Minotaur with his Arc blade until there was nothing left. Then he turned to the second one, it was trying to get back on its feet unsuccessfully. He plunged his Blade into the white stomach of the Minotaur, killing it instantly. Anon pulled his hand out, still clutching his knife, to find it soaked with the Minotaur's white liquid. Truth came in over his headset and said "Anon we have a situation." "What is it Truth?" "There's a survivor here." "What?" "I said-" "I know what you said Truth but how?" "I'm not sure he's not telling me anything besides that his name was lost in time." "Lost in time you say? We better report this to the Speaker." "Anon what if it's HIM?" "It's not." "How do you know?" "Because Kabr is dead." "Maybe not..." "Just get a hold of the Speaker or the Vanguards." "Fine. Are the Vex gone?" "Seem to be." "Good then get up here." "Alright give me a minute." --------------------------------------------------- Cayde-6 rushed into the room. Commander Zavala gave him a glare for showing up late. The Speaker continued with his work and Ikora simply nodded a 'hello.' "I just heard the news. Is it true? Did they find him?" Cayde asked, completely ignoring Zavala's glare. "They found someone." The Speaker replied. "Is it him?" Cayde asked once again. "Cayde we are unsure at this point." Ikora stated. "We've already sent a team of Guardians to their position to pick them up." Zavala said. Cayde looked at the Vanguards and The Speaker and said "If it's him then everything has changed." The Speaker looked up at him "Then let us hope it is not him." --------------------------------------------------- End of Part 4 [b] This was the finale of Recon however I will follow up the story in a new chapter. I am doing this simply because it wouldn't make sense if it was called [i]Recon [/i] and wasn't about actual Recon.
