Destiny War Stories. Chapter 2 Strange Encounters My name is, well... was Sean but now people just call me Fluxarose or Flux for short. I'm a Titan. After I woke up i was so infuriated i punched the remainder of my home in the side and it collapsed completely. I’ve never been able to summon strength that strong since that day. I normally go lone wolf, don't really want to depend on anyone, or want to fail anyone. I only go back to the city when i need new gear, food or ammo. I on my way back to the city I saw a group of Hunters lying down around a dead campfire. Being malnourished for several days (Fallen bastards took my food stashes) i approached the camp hoping to trade some glimmer for food. When i actually got into their camp i saw their bodies cut in several places. I knew those cuts all too well, they had been from a Fallen Captain. “ Waist not want not.” I said aloud as i scavenged their bodies for any supplies. What I found was amazing: Red Death Mk. 44 (nicknamed Duke) Thunder Lord ammunition and 15 POUNDS OF BACON!!!!!!!! Guns were full so i assumed they were ambushed and couldn’t fire a single shot. Lucky me to find their weapons. After dropping my current assault rifle for Red and picking up Duke, I went to cooking and eating all the bacon. feeling a food coma coming along i decided to climb a tree to take a nap. I was about halfway up the tree when i had heard the snarl. Knowing it came from a Fallen i looked down aiming Duke at his head when I saw their caption. I didn’t think to clean my mess below thinking the group of fallen had moved on. They smelled the bacon and looked around in the trees. Holding Red in my right and duke in my left i jumped onto the captain. My Luck had not run out just yet, i had landed Red Death blade first into his head. Looking up i fired Duke 4 time killing 3 fallen and wounding the fourth. With one motion i holstered Duke, drew Red and killed off the remaining Fallen before they knew what hit them. I personally HATE all fallen so please do not think poorly of what i do next. After putting Red away i proceed to the captain’s blades and sliced him to bits, laughing all the way(still surprised i work alone?). Moving to the next Fallen corpse i heard some clapping behind me. Turning cautiously toward my applauze, i saw a hunter. “ Well done.” He said in metallic voice. “I’ve been tracking you for some time now. Glad i can finally see you in action.” “What do you want.” i said while slowly moving my hand closer to Duke. “You of course, i need a warrior who won't hold back. Seeing how you butchered your prey i see you will do just that.” “Thanks, but no thanks. I work alone. Nothing personal, i just don't trust anyone… Especially Exo.” As he took off his helmet i could see the shine from his chrom finish. “How could you tell?” “Your voice.” “I see.”He took a step in my direction. Pulling Duke out with lightning speed I fired 2 shots at him. Before i knew what was happening he was behind me with a knife to my throat. “You're going to agree to help me, or die. Your choice.” “ I would prefer to live” “Good. Lets get started then.” He said with a grin.
