Bungie explains how it's matchmaking works
I am glad they are going to sort this out, found this comment just recently. I have been playing the only mmo I could find for the xbox, called Defiance, the game graphics are not that good and the server lag is intolerable. I quit the game , rage quit really at the lag very fequently. As usual Bungie is taking more time to release because they want to get it right the first time. Bungie consistently does that. So all you children that are angry that they don't just push it out the door , be patient. I for one can wait a couple of extra months to get it right. Oh btw Bungie if you are listening please give us a better idea of how long it will take to get the xbox beta after the ps4... I guess my choice in new console will partly hinge on that :) What do you guys think. Mostly I am thankful that it looks like we won't have much lag , big gameplay kiiller

3 RepliesI hope, that if you're friends with someone, and you enter their area, then you see them instead of being put on a separate server. But the one thing I'm really wondering is, When something gets destroyed, like in that gameplay vid with that tower getting destroyed by the public event, Do you think the structure will remain destroyed forever, or after a certain amount of time it'll be respawned? I mean, it'd be really cool if it something stayed destroyed, and you can go back to it a year or more later, and be reminded, "Ah, this is the site of my first Public Event". and if foliage grows over as time goes by. But I doubt it. It would still be really cool if it could happen.
