Exotic bounties.
Exotic bounties are random, they are relieved when turning in vanguard or crucible bounties, I received two and claimed the weapons (invective and thorn), the weapons show what you went through to get them, and how much skill you possess. If you were smart you'd save up your bounties and turn them all in afterwards.
