Best Legendary Primary?
Alright, so I am on the lookout for a better Legendary Primary.
Right now 123 Syzgy and Eidolon Ally really are not cutting it for me. I've heard good things about the Badger_CCL or the Saterienne Rapier. I'm looking to buy these with Vanguard Accommodation, so hopefully your favorite is obtainable this way.
Recommendations?

My new favorite is the Iron Banner Hand Cannon Timur's Lash. iClimb2U recommended it, I finished upgrading it today and love it. Level 30 red Acolytes go down with two shots to the head, red Knights take three. Looking forward to the Nightfall. Explosive rounds are fun. I hope I get one in a drop next Iron Banner for my hunter.

Lookin at the Badger and the perks on the vendor kinda suck...Luck in the chamber and mulligan i think. is that what you get or are the perks different when you purchase? right now i'm using Do Gooder that i got from a crucible match. was using a Fair and Square for a while that i got from a level up package. dont think i ever bought a weapon from vendor

Great info y'all! You helped a ton!. Ended up just starting with the Badger (since I was flush with Vanguard accoms). Going to get the Sateriene Rap when I'm loaded with the crucible to compare the two. Oh, and the Badger is already pretty bad ass. Not a huge Scout fan right off the bat, but I'll start learning, since this baby packs a punch!

No matter what I do, I always end up using Fate Bringer. Great handling, arc damage, and exploding rounds. I've tried to commit to others like a scout but never stay with em.

If you're just going Vanguard, then your only option is the Badger. Saterienne is a Crucible buy; I have the Badger and love it. If you're comfortable with Hand Cannons, TFWPKY 1979 is very boss.

I have the SR scoutrifle. It's awesome not fully upgraded yet, but will be after i finish buffing Fatebringer. Can't beat the firefly perk.

I think it depends on your play style/preference. I prefer hand cannons myself but I did just get another NITC that has so-so perks on it that's fully leveled that I also enjoy rolling with. But I do echo what others are saying about scout rifle perks to be on the lookout for if scout rifles are your thing. I would say the crucible machine gun is probably the most formidable heavy (similar to corrective measure), ldr sniper rifle from vanguard the best secondary, and the tfpwky (or whatever it's referred to as) hand cannon is my personal favorite primary (but I got mine as a drop with some really nice perks on it - not sure what the vendor version has). Outlaw and Firefly make this weapon the Scout Rifle you want to buy. Badger CCL is awesome with the eight perks. The vendor version is kinda meh though. IMHO if you can get Outlaw / Field Scout and Firefly on this use it over pretty much any other Scout besides VoC. Another NitC handles very well... it is what I use. Again, the vendor version is bad. TFWPKY from the Crucible vendor is arguably the best Vendor handcannon currently. Nothing special but it is good. Up for Anything is most likely the best Vanguard AR atm. But it is yet another High RoF / low impact AR. The NM one is better BTW DO, NM and FWC all give Crucible Commendations starting at rank 3 if you just need a fast commendation.

I've heard the Badger is a great gun though I've never used it myself. Not much of a fan for scout rifles. I've been running with Up For Anything for quite some time now and love it. As iClimb2U mentioned, it depends on your play style. Are you the silent assassin type or do you spray and pray? The best gun is a matter of personal preference.

Saterienne Rapier I think is basically a scout rifle Fatebringer of course without arc damage.
